We heard some noise thru the window... and realised there's a skunk! :P
    We
had  ran out of garbage cans and had to leave a bag of garbage outside,
and apparently the skunk was attracted by something in the bag and
started making a hole thru it to eat the garbage! :O
    I think it's a baby/youngling :P It's not very big :P

  • Radioactive looking cheese straws (well kinda) with recipe under cut :P

    http://puppy52.com/temp/x/2006/0801/random/DSC06446cheesestraws.jpg
hahha okay they don't really look that crazy bright yellow really!

I been craving salty stuff lately :x
Anyway I forgot where I came across the word "cheese straws" and decided to do a search on receipezaar
    I found this receipe http://www.recipezaar.com/38769

I don't have some of the ingredients so I decided to improvise with what we have in the kitchen :P

    My version is
    1 cup flour
    1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
    1/2 teaspoons salt
1/4 cup butter (2 tablespoons approximately)
    1/2 cup grated mozerella cheese
    1/3 cup milk
    1/8 teaspoon tumeric powder
a sprinkle of dried paisley flakes

    1. Mix dry ingredients.
    2. Cut in butter and cheese until crumbly.
    3. Add milk; mix well.
    4. Roll dough out to 1/8 inch thick; sprinkle with paprika.
    5. Cut into sticks of about 2 inches long
    6. Place on greased baking sheet. (will be trying to line it with greased parchment paper next time I do it)
    7. Bake at 350° F/180° C for 10-12 minutes.

They taste great (crispy!) if the dough is thinner (but might burn
easily) if I make it next time I'll probably try to use a piece of
greased parchment paper next time cos the mozerella cheese can stick to
the surface of the baking sheet :P
