I used to make this cookies with my mom and sis when I was back in Singapore for Chinese new year
This year, I made some for the first time in Vancouver

Corn flake cookies (50 cookies)
Ingredients:
250 gm butter
225 gm castor sugar (I used regular granulated sugar)
375 gm plain flour (it may be better to weigh the sugar and flour, as I roughly estimated and got a bit too much flour
)
1 tsp baking powder
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla essence
cornflakes - crushedMethod:
1) Cream the butter and sugar until pale and fluffy
2) Cream in the egg and vanilla essence
3) Fold in the flour and baking powder
4) Scoop mixture with teaspoon and drop it on cornflakes. Shape into balls and place onto cookie sheet or baking tray
5) bake at 180 degree celcious for 16-18 minutes or until golden brown
